Yes: Gout is a deposition of Uric Acid. It's particularly bothersome with deposition in joints. Uric acid is a breakdown product of purines which are used in DNA synthesis. Therefore, any item that increases purines such as alcohol or fish can lead to elevated uric acid and gout attacks. Some drugs and even cancer can lead to increase purine metabolism and Gout.

Yes High Meat intake: Do not eat red meats or organs like liver or kidneys in your food. Check your blood Uric Acid level. if it is >7mg, you should see a doctor who can give you a medicine which will lower your Uric acid which is the main cause of Gout....so it is easily treatable if you take this medicine regularly.

Yes many: Alcohol and Gout Risk. Although beer may be the worst drink for gout, any alcoholic beverage can trigger gout symptoms in people who are prone to the disease. "Alcohol causes the kidneys to excrete alcohol instead of excreting uric acid. At a moderate drinking level, beer and whisky have different effects on purine metabolism or excretion. An extra jolt or two of caffeine may trigger a gout attack
