period 4 days late, pregnancy test negative. should i be worried?

Tests are accurate: In a woman with regular periods, some causes of a late period include: excessive weight loss or weight gain, increased exercising, emotional stress, having an illness, traveling, medicines (such as hormone pills), hormonal imbalances, being near menopause, etc… Seeing a doctor is a good idea if symptoms are persistent, recurrent, or worsening. No worries yet.

I am 4 days late but took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Could I still be pregnant?

Possibly: Though modern home pregnancy tests are very accurate, and if you are past your usual period, then you may have simply skipped a period this cycle. Check another in a couple of days, and if you still have not started, see your physician.

Ihave taken 3 pregnancy test and all came up negative, however, I am 19 days late and have a normal 28 day cycle. Can I be pregnant?

Late Period: It would be unlikely to be pregnant after 3 pregnancy test. It is never abnormal to have an irregular cycle once in a while. If the cycle does not start soon, then i would get in and get checked. Hope this helps.

Urine vs. Blood test: Home pregnancy test should be done about a week after the first missed period or on oct 29 or so. You may see your doctor for a blood test 2-3 days after the missed period.

Can i take a pregnancy test eight days after intercours?

You may but it may : Be too soon to provide a meaningful answer. Home pregnancy test usually becomes positive about a week or more after a missed period. Blood test is more sensitive but even that should be used 2-3 days after a missed period.
