Candida krusei: Candida krusei is a fungal or yeast germ, that sometimes infects patients with hematologic malignancies (blood cancers) or transplant recipients (patients who received some sort of organ transplant). These fungal or yeast infections take hold because a patient has a lowered immune defense due to cancer or due to transplant medications. Normal, healthy people don't worry about such germs.
