A member asked:

Are birth control and condoms together a safe enough option to avoid pregnancy or do i need to do more?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Safe enough...: There is a 20% per year chance of pregnancy with condoms and a 5% chance per year with birth-control pills. Together, you have about a 1% chance of pregnancy per year. That is pretty low but it isn't zero. If you want a lower risk, you might consider abstinence. Its only failed once in history. Best wishes!
