Types of Starvation: The lack of certain substances in your diet can manifest is different ways. Marasmus is an inadequate intake of all forms of energy, usually in children but looks similar to concentration camp survivors. Kwashiorkor is a type of starvation where the child has adequate energy intake, except for protein (bloated stomachs). Hope this helps.
