Maybe: Cold weather does effect the body. Did you overuse the arm shoveling snow, clearing car windshield? If the pain is in the dominant hand, or hand you write with likely due to some new overuse mild strain. If occurs only at night check pillow height, bedding. May be colder while sleeping. Use electric blanket. Since you are young I would suggest some acetaminophen or ibuprofen with food.
