I recently had the hpv vaccine 4 days ago, my left arm is still very sore and the pain has moved into near my armpit area to to chest, is this normal?

Lymph node pain: This is more pain than usual after the HPV vaccine. It's not too unusual, but best to check with your doctor about it. (If there is redness of the skin or swelling in the armpit, don't delay -- see your doctor today.)

Vaccine pain: Any "shots" given can produce ascending arm pain, into the "armpit area", but it should not persist past a week or so. If there is redness or swelling in your upper arm, it could be cellulitis, and you should consult your healthcare provider for treatment asap.
