How likely is the contraction of hpv after having the gardasil shot?

Low but present: Guardasil very effective in preventing many strains of hpv infection, particularly those strains causing most cervix cancer cases. There are >100 strains of hpv, including some cancer inducing strains not prevented by guardasil. Thus chances of getting hpv infection during or after unprotected sex are more than negligible. Please be warned, use protection against all forms of std including hpv.
