An X-ray of Breast: This is a test done by a radiologist to check/examine your breast for any abnormality. It is commonly used as a screening test for early detection of breast cancer.It is recommended for all women who are older than 40 years of age and it should be done once yearly if possible.

Mammogram: A mammogram is a low dose xray of the breasts, usually performed for screening(detection of breast cancer in asymptomatice women) or to evaluate a lump or other symptom(diagnostic mammo). The American Cancer Society, American College of Radiology, and others recommend annual screening starting at age 40 for the average risk woman.
