Dentist: You would be better off with a dentist for evaluation of the issue.

Dentist: Physician will only refer you on to a Dentist for treatment. Start with your General Dentist. Referral to a Periodontist, a gum/bone specialist may be in order. Mouthwash will not cure infected gums. Please do not delay.

Dentist: Let a local dentist examine you and take a series of radiographs. Only then, with the cause of your infections determined, the appropriate treatment can be rendered.

Contact DDS: First, see your dentist for an overall evaluation. If warranted, you may be placed on an appropriate antibiotic and or referred to a periodontist. Good luck.
