See below. : Symptoms of low T are non-specific. Low T should be confirmed with 2 separate early AM total T measurements. Additional testing (e.g. Free/bioavailable T, LH, prolactin) often useful in the evaluation. No general consensus on what T value defines low T (<200-250 ng/dL yes; 250-350 ng/dL gray area). Risks/benefits/type of TRT should be discussed with experienced MD Insurance coverage quite variable
