Constipation: If you have the urge to move your bowels and can't, work from below using rectal glycerin or dulcolax suppositories. A fleets enema can be used. If you have no urges, drink adequate fluids, eat a lot of fiber and exercise. Taking a daily bowel stimulant like SenokotS which also has a stool softener helps. A gastroenterologist can advise you as needed.
