Green: sputum indicates bronchial or lung infection and should not be ignored. You may need (another)?? course of antibiotics. ("Green Sputum may indicate PNEUMOCOCCAL infection). A face to face consultation may be indicated as well as a chest exam/xray Hope this is helpful Dr Z

Mgt.: You may have developed chronic inflammation and/or another infection. I would suggest a flu vaccination and seeing you PCP. A sputum sample may be sent to the laboratory . I would recommend this prior to the start of any antibiotic course. Please stay well hydrated and monitor your temperature.

See lung specialist: Possible bronchiectasis with pseudomonas infection. Fatigue may be caused by lack of sleep. Is your cough worse in bed? Does cough interfere with sleep? Suggest consult lung specialist SOON. Meanwhile, try to force out as much sputum as you can before you go to bed.
