Maybe: Maybe shingles. The pill is completely safe. The pill is most effective if started in first 3 days, the sooner the better. After a few days there is very little benefit. So, if in doubt, start valacyclovir. See a DR, preferably a dermatologist, immediately.

UnlikelyShinglesBut?: Blister on the lip which healed in 2 days is unlikely to be Shingles.What kind of rash you have on right side of face is more important.Does it looks like multiple blisters Is the rash painful.I suggest have your doctor look at it& get he proper diagnosis,as you do need a prescription for AntiViral Antibiotics,&may need follow up as the neuralgia it causes can be very painful&need to be addressed
