It's complicated: Libido or sex drive is influenced by many things and your loss of libido may not have a single, simple answer. However, fertility and ovulation are drivers of libido so that you tend to be most interested in sex when you are most fertile. All birth control pills suppress ovulation and therefore tend to interfere with libido. You might want to consider an IUD which will not have this effect.
