I have a lump directly below my rib cage on my back, left side. feels like a lump on a muscle but theres not one the other side. its about half an inch- an inch long. just feels a tiny bit sore, all my back muscles ache at top too. ?

Lump on back: Could be lipoma ( benign) , or a ganglion cyst though that is a rare area. But would follow up w/ dermatologist or surgeon as may need biopsy to make sure it is not something else. Muscle may ache from pressure of lesion but may be another entity as well, like strain, cervical spine issues, even sore throats , Be up to date on mammograms. f/u/ w /dermatology
