No but may not work: Nexplanon is approved by the FDA for use for 3 years. It is not dangerous to keep it longer but the effectiveness at preventing pregnancy is unproven beyond 3 years. Some countries use it for 4 but not here in the US. You live in Texas. If you do not have insurance for a replacement apply to the Healthy Texas Women program and the removal and replacement will be free
