Pregnant/travel: First trimester pregnancy is not a good time to take medication such as "sleeping pills". A relatively harmless method for sleep induction for long air flights is antihistamines, found in most drugstores in cold remedies, or Benadryl. Ask your ob provider for a recommendation.

Pregnancy & meds: Pregnancy is not conducive to the ingestion of various "mundane" medications as it can injure a developing fetus especially during the first trimester and cause fetal malformations.
