Call Doctor: Follow up with the Doctor. Vomiting can lead to dehydration quickly. May need IV medications. Consult a Doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

Difficult: There will be a small amount absorbed under the tongue in spite of the vomiting. Depends what the medicine is for as to whether necessary or not. Best to consult with your doctor to get to bare minimum of what is essential. If necessary then may need to give in small quantities slowly or if appropriate to, hide it in food/drink.

Cruel to be kind: I don't mean to sound like a terribly mean doctor but I have not yet met a child in the emergency department we were not able to coerce into taking their medication. By offering small amounts at the the back of the throat while keeping the chin elevated, they will swallow the medicine. You have to balance the need for the medicine Vs the struggle. You can also try disguising it in milk/formula.
