Can't really say.: To have significant alcohol withdrawal at the age of 23 would mean you've been drinking a long time or massive amounts. If you went to the hospital you would have seen a doctor (or PA). Anxiety is a residual effect that can last a while or may be what got you drinking in the first place. Physical withdrawal from alcohol is a 10 day process and can be dangerous without medical supervision.
