IUD's work well: IUD's work very well. If still worried, can do a home urine test. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a regular period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test.

IUD: IUD's are 99% effective against pregnancy. It is highly unlikely that you are pregnant. However if you did not use a condom it is possible that you have a STD. Followup with your doctor if your symptoms persist
