Is typhoid able to be transmitted throught sharing of drinks or food eg using a same spoon or straw?

Very unlikely but...: theoretically possible. To be direct: typhoid is spread by eating or drinking food or water contaminated with the feces of an infected person. One can (dimly) envision a person having gone to the bathroom, not washing their hands, coming back and handling a beverage with a straw and then sharing. Or maybe eating with their fingers and sharing? Careful hygiene is always advised:)
