A member asked:

My 2.5 yr old son has extremely regular stools, 6+ a day. they are healthy and not runny at all, but it seems a bit too regular? is this normal, or do we need to go see someone?

See Pediatrician: If your 2y old is having 6+ bulky stools every day, you need to consult with your Pediatrician. If he is eating regular diet and he is gaining adequate weight, it might be normal. If he is not having adequate weight gain, then it is likely that he has a malabsorption problem. Your Pediatrician will be able to investigate and suggest management of the problem.
