Spotting/sex: Spotting after sex can be secondary to irritation of the cervix, which can have inflammation which causes such spotting , especially with vigorous or deep penetration. Sometimes estrogen drops a bit before the sudden drop with ovulation, which can also cause some of the lining to deteriorate and spotting will result. If it continues, see your gyn for an exam.
