Might be OK: Before treating your son for pain. be sure he is not showing any signs or symptoms of a more significant head injury such as nausea, vomiting, excessive sleepiness, confusion, or loss of consciousness. It is appropriate to treat his pain with Tylenol or Ibuprofen. Follow the dosing instructions on the manufacture's label. If he develops any of the symptoms above, he should be seen.
