It means: the course of the aorta twists/turns more than normal. It is usually relatively straight. This is a fairly common finding as we age. There is no treatment per se, it is usually asymptomatic and an incidental finding on imaging. However, it could be a sign of atherosclerosis and/or hypertension, so talk to your doc.
