A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low risk for men: Up to 65% of inidividuals that are sexually active will acquire hpv. Depending on type, there may be warts or no visible lesions. Lesions appear 3 wks to 9 mo after exposure. HPV infection is usually transient but a small % persist and depending on the type, cause cervical cancer, rarely penile/anal cancer. Less risk to circ'd males, non-smokers. You are still young enough to get vaccine
