Gastroenteritis: first make sure you are drinking plenty of water and you might consider a drink like Gatorade or pedi lite to help maintain your electrolytes and not get dehydrated. I would wait a day before staring immodium because it is most likely a 24-48 hour viral infection. possibly you ate something that was "off". if you see blood from either end then go to the emergency department
