It generally: takes up to 6 months for the liver ducts to enlarge and "store" the bile acids produced and usually stored in the gallbladder! Some people are "sensitive"to these bile acids...discuss with your surgeon ..he/she may recommend an interim solution to your problem Hope this is helpful! DR Z
