A member asked:

My left breast keeps twitching is it my heart?. 1 ekg came out possible left atrial enlarged 2nd one two days later was normal. should i be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not to worry: It is the underlying pectoral muscle that is twitching. It is not your heart nor your breast. Most muscle twitches in that region are benign and go away on their own. One EKG that was read as "possible" left atrial enlargement followed by a normal EKG would not worry me. Ask the ordering doctor if he/she is concerned.
