Yeast? STD? Other?: Vaginal itching, burning, etc (including pain during sex) are typical for a vaginal yeast infection, which most women experience from time to time. However, yellow discharge is more suggestive of other infections, including STDs if you are sexually active. BV is less likely, especially if no strong odor. You'll need to see a doctor for exam and testing. Don't delay, which might risk complications.
