Menstrual color: The "normal" color of menstrual flow is red to dark red. Sometimes there is additional mucus flow, for example from a yeast overgrowth, which dilutes the menstrual flow and makes it appear a lighter color (reddish orange?) . If there are other symptoms, like itching, burning, etc., see your gyn provider for an exam.
