Vaginal bldg: Assuming your normal periods are 5-7 days, and you are not on oral contraceptives, you need first to obtain a serum HCG pregnancy test, since a pregnancy in the fallopian tube may cause this kind of prolonged bleeding. Regardless of the outcome of the test, see your GYN provider immediately to remedy this situation.
