Mid-cycle bldg: At age eighteen, it is not uncommon to have two eggs stimulated to the point of ovulation (unless on oral contraceptives). The hormonal event just prior to ovulation drops estrogen levels suddenly and the drop is enough to cause mid cycle bleeding (dark brown discharge). See your gyn provider if this continues.
