MRI finding: The conduction fibers carry signals from the neurons in the cortex layer thru the brain axons . The imaging of these fibers using T2 signals picks up the changes to the myelin structure described above. The distribution as punctate often is the end result of a microvascular insufficiecy or from injuries or migraine.. The clinical importance should be discussed with the neurologist.
