A member asked:

What do you do when your whole body itches but you have no rash or bumps?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Itch without rash: There is a large number of different conditions where the whole body itches but there is no rash. There needs to be an evaluation with labs, stool, urinalysis and a chest xray to rule out potential problems. Sometimes just overall dry skin can cause itching of the entire body, but that responds to moisturizers. If itch doesn't improve with moisturizers quickly, please see your doctor right away.
