Several things: A bladder infection is a common cause of urinary urgency and frequent urination. There is also a condition called interstitial cystitis that can give you these symptoms chronically for years. It feels like a bladder infection when no infection is present. Drinking lots of water will make you urinate frequently. Best wishes!
