Ive been on nuvaring for 3monts. i skipped my period by changing rings every 21days. ive had breakthrough bleeding for 4 days. when will it stop?

It may not soon stop: The continuous use of the Nuva ring does not allow the "built up" endometrium an opportunity to shed unlike the pill which keeps the endometrium at minimal levels. It may be a good idea to allow this withdrawal bleeding to occur in full and once every 3 months do the same. Talk to your GYN MD about this issue to obtain a 2nd opinion.
