See a physiatrist and initiate an updated pain management program. Pool therapy in warm pool may help tolerance for physical therapy. A McKenzie Exercise Program might help but could take several months. Stretching, acupuncture, biofeedback, meditation are all techniques which can assist coping.

In addition to the excellent suggestions from Dr. M., please consider adding a mind-body approach. You can search the work of the late John Sarno, MD. It has helped many w/organic reasons for their discomfort improve. Peace and good health.
