Orthopedics: sounds like torticollis, a spasm of the thick muscles on the front, sides and back of neck, Very painful and your neck should be imsged as well as your head from trauma. You must be examined and evaluated. You can add an NSAID like Aleve or Advil if not allergic to NSAIDS.
