Floating bowel movement. diagnosed colon cancer 3 years ago. stage 3b.now floating b.m's?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Floating bm's: Floating stools are seen with looser bowel movements causing rapid transit through the intestinal tract and are lighter colored. This could be temporary from dietary factors or virus. They also occur with malabsorption syndromes from pancreatic, biliary tract or liver disorders. If this change in bm's is persistent, notify your oncologist or gastroenterologist for evaluation and advice.
