A member asked:

Got a speck of dirt stuck in my eye . what do i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Where in the eye: If the speck is stuck to your conjunctiva (over the whites of the eye), then you can probably flush it out and manipulate the lid to get it to move. If it is stuck to the cornea (I am guessing that you have seen this speck), then other than flushing you could worsen things by pressing. If it is on the cornea, then seen your ophthalmologist (not an optometrist) for removal.
