Depends: Tetanus shots are usually good for 10 years since the last booster. You may be given a booster at 5 years if the wound is particularly dirty.

Maybe: Dirty wounds may need a tetanus shot if been more than 5y. See doctor for evaluation. Your GP may be able to help you clarify your tetanus status, as well as treat the wound, although if there is pain and movement restriction and a deep wound is suspected will need to go to the emergency room
