MostDontNeedTreatmen: Most cases of Moluscum contagiosum do not need to be treated,as the bumps go away on it's own in 6 to 9 months.But some may persist for years.The one's in genital area are recommended to be treated to prevent the spread.Treatment consist of freezing(cryotherapy)scraping called curettage.putting chemical cantharidin or potassium hydrochloride and using chemical creams the one's used for warts
