You are right !: The literature says both. Whenever, I am uncertain which resource is correct - I usually turn the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It states " It is not common for the parasite to infect other body parts, like the hands, mouth, or anus.". I interpret this to mean that does not mean zero transmission to mouth.
