No: Mastocytosis is from activation of the mast cells with some of the cases related to a genetic mutation, Sjogren's is considered an autoimmune disorder. The symptoms and causes are entirely different.

Yes, it depends: Sjogren's Syndrome is an inflammatory condition with dryness of eyes, mouth, skin and all other tissues that have glands that produce secretions. This inflammation is associated by an autoimmune antibody reaction that has specific criteria for the diagnosis. In some mastocytosis patients, glands can be inflamed by mast cells, have symptoms similar to and be misdiagnosed with Sjogren's.
