Needs to be checked: Shooting /cramping pain in abdoen couple of times per hour in abdomen needs to be checked to find the cause and appropriate treatment.Prevacid will not help pain in lower abdomen.Needs dtailed history how long you have had the pain,location of pain,intensity,anmy associated symptoms like nausea/vomiting/constipation/diarrhea etc.And physical exam.If indicated bood and urine test and imaging
