Contraception: Depo Provera is a 3 month long acting injectable contraceptive. So it will last Aug, Sept, Oct. to prevent pregnancy. When you stop the shot. It may take a few months until you ovulate again and could take as long as 12 months to get pregnant. All depends on your individual hormones.
