Time: The depo works y preventing egg release. The hormone in the shot, tricks your body into believing you are already pregnant, saving the eggs for later.You cannot undo the shot, it will ware off over time, and you will start releasing eggs. Although the depo is more convenient in some ways, it is not as easy to stop.
