White/ yellow: Discharge signifies either a bacterial or fungal infection is present. Yellow/ green discharge is frequently associated with bacterial infections, of which gonorrhea and chlamydia are on the list. If you have a history of any sexual activity, see your physician for a pelvic exam and culture of your discharge as soon as you can.
